UTC COLORADO

  • We will have Student and Certified Athletic Trainers at UTC. In order for them to do their job well, and so you can compete, you must bring the following:

    1) The medical release form (in your welcome email)

    2) Your current physical from your university or general doctor

    3) Your medical insurance information

    You’ve already attended UTC as a participant and you’re embracing the struggle of applying the Principles™ to your life and sport. You are beginning to experience freedom and you crave a deeper investment. If you’re honest, you also have more questions and you’re feeling stuck in a few places. You want to learn how to serve, share your faith, and disciple others.

    The UTC Intern Program is a great next step for you.

    The UTC Intern Program is designed to help invested student-athletes take the next step in their spiritual journey with Christ. At each UTC there is a group of student-athlete interns who have participated in UTC in a previous year and have returned to UTC in an intern role. Interns play a key role in the execution of a successful UTC and also experience a deeper spiritual investment from UTC staff, including an extra three days of spiritual training.

  • You must be 18 years or older, by the first day of camp, in order to participate in a UTC.

  • Most athletes that attend the UTC compete at the NCAA level or higher. The intensity of UTC is designed for this skill level. However, this is not a requirement to attend.

  • UTC COLORADO

    Registration is from 1-5 p.m. and dinner is provided from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

    The first meeting starts at 7 p.m. sharp!

    Please DO NOT arrive on Saturday the night before as we will not be able to house you.

    You are free to leave anytime on Saturday morning. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. Breakfast is not provided on Saturday.

  • $100 non-refundable deposit due at registration

    You are allowed to raise funds to cover UTC costs.

  • UTC COLORADO

    UTC Colorado will be held at the Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.

    When you arrive on campus, registration will be held at Academic Village: 810 West Pitkins St, Fort Collins, CO 80521.

    DRIVING

    Academic Village (Colorado State University) address: 810 W Pitkins St, Fort Collins, CO 80521

    FLYING

    Please book your flights to arrive at the Denver International Airport (DEN) before 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.

    The airport is an hour and twenty minutes from Fort Collins and Colorado State University.

    Once you arrive at the airport you can use this shuttle service which offers a discount if you book online ahead of time.

    *Book your dropoff location to be FC - Academic Village.

    At the airport, to get to the shuttle departure location take the train to the Main Terminal (Baggage Claim Area).

    Upon exiting the train loading area find the Groome shuttle service on Level 5. There you will be directed to the correct bus that will bring you to Colorado State University.

    Tell the driver to drop you at FC - Academic Village.

    The Groome shuttle service operates on a regular schedule between Fort Collins and Denver International Airport.

    UTC staff will greet you at Academic Village

  • Dress is casual and chill. Towels, blankets, sheets, and pillows will be provided by CSU. These are generic linens so if you need particulars you will want to bring those with you. Please check weather patterns before you pack.

    Required Packing List:

    -Enough workout gear for five days
    -Sweatshirt or light jacket for cool nights
    -Pants/Jeans
    -Running shoes
    -Basketball shoes
    -Another pair of training shoes in case the shoes get wet
    -Toiletries
    -Shower sandals
    -Water bottle
    -Ankle or knee wraps (if needed)
    -Sunscreen
    -Sunglasses
    -One-piece swimsuit (for competition)
    -Bible (you will receive one at UTC if you don’t have one)
    -Pens
    -Extra cash for gifts, swag, snacks, etc.

    *Please bring your family’s updated insurance information in case of an emergency.

    You will not be allowed to participate in athletic events without your insurance information and proof of current athletic physical from your university or general doctor.

  • UTC COLORADO

    UTC Colorado will be housed at Edwards Hall at Colorado State University (CSU).

    CSU will provide you with all your linens, blankets, etc. CSU will provide you with excellent meals on campus, which are included in your registration fee.

    There are plenty of options for those with food allergies and dietary restrictions.

    Meals begin with dinner on Sunday, the first day of UTC, and end with dinner on the following Friday.

  • Every day of UTC is slightly different, but this sample schedule provides a good idea of the general flow.

    7:00 - 8:00 a.m. - Breakfast

    8:15 - 11:30 a.m. - Principle Teaching & Labs

    11:30 - 12:30 p.m. - Discussion Groups

    12:30 - 1:30 p.m. - Lunch

    1:30 - 3:00 p.m. - Workout or Free Time

    3:00 - 5:45 p.m. - Principle Teaching & Labs

    5:45 - 6:45 p.m. - Dinner

    7:00 - 10:00 p.m. - Evening Session

  • UTC COLORADO

    Although the UTC schedule is fast-paced, you will get at least two hours most days to work out at the University of Colorado State University Rec Center, which is a full-facility gym.

    Colorado State University has spent millions of dollars to build some of the best athletic facilities in the entire region. You will be able to lift, hoop, swim, etc.

  • Many of your teammates and friends from your athletic department or other campuses would consider coming to UTC if they knew you were going.

    INVITE THEM TO COME WITH YOU to enjoy this experience!

    Your relationship with them could be what it takes for them to experience the same amazing week that you will.

    UTC Minnesota will be held at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.

    *Please note that St. Thomas has two campuses. UTC is hosted at the St. Paul campus.

    When you arrive on campus, registration will be held at Tommie North Residence Hall: 139 Cleveland Ave N, St. Paul, MN 55104 (on the corner of Selby Ave & Cleveland Ave).

    DRIVING

    There is a parking garage under Tommy North Residence Hall where you can unload your gear and there is a parking garage on campus where you can park your car for the remainder of camp.

    For long-term camp parking enter the campus on the north end at the corner of Finn and Selby streets. Follow this road south through campus until you see the football field and can not go any further.

    Take a very sharp right to park in the underground ramp. You will want to take the first elevator to the 2nd floor and walk across the skywalk directly through Koch Commons.

    When outside take a left across the green space to Tommie North Residential Hall.

    UTC staff will greet you at either entry.

    FLYING

    Please book your flights to arrive at the Minneapolis International Airport (MSP) before 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

    The airport is 15 minutes from the University of St. Thomas. Once you arrive at the airport you can use this shuttle service which costs about $25 one way (price subject to change) or grab an Uber.

    Please tell your driver to take you to Koch Commons on the University of St. Thomas - St. Paul campus. This is where UTC Minnesota will be hosted.

    To get to Koch Commons enter the campus at the corner of Finn and Selby, drive South until you are under the skywalk, and enter Koch under the skywalk.

    UTC staff will greet you at this location.
