You Can Fundraise for UTC Expenses

Fundraising Help for Registered Participants

We are excited to see you at UTC. All participants were given an unique giving page when they registered for UTC, either as an intern or a camper. Below is important information related to your fund raising page:

  • Each participant is given a unique giving number automatically through our Cru/AIA system.

To view the status of your support raising follow these steps:

  • Go to smapp.cru.org and log in with the username and password you used to fill out an application or register for camp

  • Click on the Event you are assigned to, or registered for, at the top of the page; if you don't see an event please contact utc@athletesinaction.org.

  • After clicking your event you will see your event details and the status of your support.

As a reminder: Please DO NOT use a GoFundMe page or similar fund-raising websites. This could constitute an NCAA violation.

ONLINE GIVING

This is the best option for your support team. In your letter/text make sure you tell them how they can give online if they choose to do so. Here is how:

  • Click on your unique customized giving link that looks similar to this: https://give.cru.org/1257179

  • If a friend or potential ministry partner is interested in making a donation, share your unique link with them.  They can then make one-time and recurring donations to AIA to fund your Ultimate Training Camp.

  • Your profile has been pre-populated by the UTC staff with a photo and description of Ultimate Training Camp. You can add your own cover photo and edit your profile to make it your own by going to http://give.cru.org/profile.html

CHECKS

  • All checks must be made payable to Athletes in Action or Cru and bring it with you to camp or talk to your AIA Campus Director (if applicable).

DO NOT use platforms like GoFundMe because the funds go to you, the athlete, and this may jeopardize your NCAA eligibility. You can raise funds for UTC via give.cru.org because you are raising funds for the organization of Athletes in Action, a non-profit, which is allowed under NCAA rules.
